Get Involved with The Greenway Table

There are many ways to become involved with The Greenway Table and anyone who desires to contribute is welcome to join our mission.

Ways to contribute: 

1. Volunteer at the garden:
   
   • one time
   • weekly
   • group visits
     
     
2. Volunteer and Educational outreach:
   
   • making signs   
   • hand outs & mailing lists
   • research & lesson planning
     
     
3. Sponsor the Garden:
   
   • monetary donations or a monthly sponsorship
   • tools/supplies
     
     
4. Place an Ad:
   
   • to place an Ad on TGT Hompage, contact

For volunteering at the garden:

1. Wear appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.
2. (Unless a specified time,) only bring children if they can work well with you, and please do not bring children under 4 years old. (Unless the child is in a sling on your back).
3. Please bring plenty of your own water.
4. Use the restroom before you come - - there is no restroom on site.
5. Do not come if you are unable to stay for at least an hour, as explanation of activity will take time.
6. Please bring your own gloves.
7. Be prepared to walk just over a football field’s length from the parking area to the garden site.
8. There are bugs in the garden, take necessary preparations.
9. Take breaks as you see fit and discontinue work if you feel light headed or dizzy.
10. Understand that your safety is your responsibility and The Greenway Table, Cleveland City Schools, or Jennifer Norton cannot be held responsible for your safety. We will do everything we can to keep the garden a safe environment but your safety is your responsibility.
11. Finally, bring a great attitude and curiosity, we’re here together to learn about food and community
